SangNamGan supports projects that are co-determined and co-funded by communities in Bokeo Province, Laos.

We are discovering a more cost-effective way to help communities that are ready for change but lack the means and capital to get there. We are building a model more constructive and inclusive than handouts.

What We Do

SangNamGan is an innovative pilot project committed to improving the lives of rural villagers in Laos in a sustainable, collaborative way.

Our Approach

Our approach is simple. Talk with communities to discover real needs. Convince communities to co-invest in solutions. Decide on a budget together.

Our Partners

SangNamGan believes in partnering with other organizations to amplify our impact. So far, we have worked with Jai Lao Foundation and the district and provincial education offices.  To learn more, click here.

Our Impact

SangNamGan has both long-term and short-term objectives. In the short-term, we hope to serve and empower as many communities as possible. In the long-term, we hope to change the story of development aid in Laos.

Our Current Communities

Check out the communities that we are working with below. If you would like to donate to a particular project, go to our Generosity page here and indicate the project you would like to support.
